Moms Night Out
When: Monday, May 19, 2008 - 10:00am
Where: Meet at the last playground in the sports park

Treasure hunting - Have you ever wanted to try geocaching? We'll stroll around the sports park and look for some hidden caches. Who knows what we'll find. Geocaching is a great way to get kids interested in hiking. Kids welcome.

Fairyland Fun
When: Wednesday, May 21, 2008 - 10:00am
Where: Children's Fairyland, corner of Grand Avenue and Bellevue in Oakland
Cost: $6 for everyone (infants under age 1 are free)

Directions: You've read your kids the stories; now let the books come to life at Children's Fairyland, an outdoor theme park with exhibits, rides, and animals based on favorite nursery rhymes. There will also be a special puppet theater showing that day of Pinocchio. Look for your monthly Evite for more details and to RSVP!

Creek Time
When: Friday, May 23, 2008 - 10:00am
Where: We will meet on Harvest circle near the trail head

Lets meet at the creek and have some water fun. We can look for fish and pollywogs. There is a gravel beach with shallow water. Bring beach toys, towels, chairs and lunch. The path is not stroller friendly.
May. 25, 2008 Kids Outing
Train Ride
When: Sunday, May 25, 2008 - 3:00pm
Where: Train depot in Sunol, 6 Kilkare Road 94586
Cost: Donation to the train, it is volunteer run, and so much fun!

Choo Choo, all aboard! We have reserved the caboose at the Sunol train for all the mini engineers out there. No bathroom on board as we cannot move throughout the other trains. You may bring snacks or any "drinks" you desire, some will be provided. The train goes down to Niles and back, a little over an hour. Seats on the caboose are limited, so RSVP early if you want to chug along with us. The train LEAVES at 3:00pm so please come before then!
